Policy brief: A rapid evidence review on community engagement for COVID-19 response

This systematic review looks at how community engagement strategies for infectious disease prevention and control can be used for COVID-19 and future pandemic response. Evidence was found that integration and involvement of community actors specifically local leaders, community groups, volunteers and many others, who implemented activities relevant to SBCC, Risk Communication, surveillance, logistics and more in past outbreaks as a potential and viable strategy in addressing COVID-19.
